This time I will introduce one of my favorite sake for dinner.
Sake for drinking in the evening at home is called “ban-shaku”.
I choose sake with a mild aroma that does not interfere with the dishes.
Since I am “Dosanko”, a person who was born in Hokkaido, I usually have Hokkaido made sake.
I love local sake, and I also want to support sake producers in Hokkaido.
That is why, today I will introduce “ Kunimare Josen” from Kunimare Brewery in Mashike-cho Hokkaido.
“ Kunimare Josen” has a full-bodied taste and a strong umami flavor, and can be paired with any meat, fish, or vegetable dish. And above all, it is a sake that you will never get tired of.
How I have this sake is “He-ya” (not warmed) or “Nuru-kan ” (slightly warmed). In terms of temperature, it is at room temperature to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
Taking a sip makes me forget the fatigue of the day.
Even more thankfully, in Sapporo city, it is easy to get hold of because it is available at most liquor stores, supermarkets, and sometimes convenience stores.
What a wonderful sake it is.
