Gozou-Roppu-Ni-Shimiwataru!

This expression expresses the feeling of excitement when drinking a delicious liquid drink. In English, it would be “permeates every fiber of my being” or “To feel something deeply in your body, or to seep into your stomach”.

It’s very hard to explain, but it’s not like the feeling you get when you drink a cold beer on a hot summer’s day. It’s more like the feeling you get when you come home after a hard day’s work and have a glass of whiskey.

” The “five organs and six fu(s)” are terms used in traditional Chinese medicine to refer to the internal organs of a person. The five organs and six fu(s) are as follows:

Five organs: heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, spleen

Six fu(s): stomach, small intestine, large intestine, gallbladder, bladder, triple burner

I use this expression when I’m tired and have miso soup, or when I have sake. And the timing I usually use is within the first or second sip.

If a foreigner used this expression, Japanese probably think he or she is quite knowledgeable about Japan. And if you use this expression at a bar counter, you are sure to impress the other Japanese customers and bartenders. You’ll be treated much better than a foreigner who obviously only knows Fuji-yama, Tempura, Sushi, and Geisha, sure it is.You have my word!
